Ingredients Convert Measures
- 1 cup green/red cabbage (shredded)
- 1 cup carrots (grated)
- 1 cup grean peas (boiled)
- 1 cup potatoes (boiled,peeled & diced)
- 1 apple (peeled & diced,about 1 cup)
- 1 cup elbow macaroni (cooked)
- 1 cup noodles (cooked)
- 3-4 pineapple rings (chopped)
- 10-15 almonds (blanched,peeled & halved)
- 1 cup thick cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 3-4 tbsp icing sugar
- Lettuce leaves,crisp
Directions
- Mix cream,mayonnaise,milk and icing sugar in a medium bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper,cover and set aside.
- Combine all fruits,vegetables and macaroni together in a large bowl.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the salad and toss well to coat.
- Break the lettuce up into large leaves and use to line a salad bowl.
- Spoon the salad on the top of the leaves.
- Top with almonds.Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour or until well chilled.
