Ingredients Convert Measures
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. dark molasses
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar; add in egg and molasses and mix well. Sift remaining ingredients together; mix into the sugar mix. Chill.
- Roll dough between palms of hands and form small balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 min. Remove from pan immediately. Yield 45.
