Easy Eye Of Round Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 eye of round roast (any size)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt

Directions

  1. Completely coat roast on all sides and end with salt, pepper, garlic salt.
  2. Place roast on rack in broiler pan, uncovered.
  3. Preheat oven to 500 degrees (be sure oven is preheated).
  4. Place roast in preheated oven and bake on 500 degrees (uncovered) 5 min per lb. If roast is over 4 pounds add in about 5 extra min.
  5. After desired time, turn oven off, leaving roast in.
  6. Leave roast in oven till oven cools, 3 to 4 hrs or possibly longer. Remove from oven, place in airtight container.
  7. Refrigerate overnight.
