Ingredients

  • 1 ham bone
  • 3 c. ham pcs
  • 1 1/2 c. split peas
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 6 to 8 c. water
  • 3 celery stalks chopped
  • 2 diced carrots
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can Campbells pea soup

Directions

  1. Coverham bone and pcs with water. Add in peas, onion, celery, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 2 hrs. Add in carrots and can of Campbells pea soup. Simmer 30 min stirring occasionally. Add in more salt if necessary. Makes 8 dinner servings.
