Ingredients

  • 2 c. cracked wheat (bulgar)
  • 1 c. rye flour
  • 1 c. white flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 c. hot water

Directions

  1. Mix until holds together well. Put in 9x5 loaf pan greased. Bake at 325F for 1 hour or possibly can be baked in 2 small loaf pans.
  2. This is my favorite bread served with a thin slice of cheese. Easy to make and sliced thin to serve.
