Ingredients

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. White Kyro syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 lb Dates, minced
  • 4 c. Walnuts, pecans, almonds or possibly mac nuts, minced

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, lowfat milk, syrup and butter in pan and bring to a soft boil (234 degrees). Remove from heat and fold in dates. Beat till thick and then add in nuts. Roll into logs. Place in frig for a couple hrs and then slice and put each piece into a paper candy c.. Me ke aloha, Mary
