Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 2 (17 ounce.) Packages date quick bread mix
  • 1 c. mashed ripe banana
  • 3/4 teaspoon grnd allspice

Directions

  1. Prepare quick bread mix according to package directions except decrease water to 1 1/3 c. total and add in mashed banana and allspice with the water. Pour mix into a greased 10-inch fluted or possibly plain tube pan. Cook 50 to 60 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan 15 min. Turn out onto wire rack to cold completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like. Slice thinly to serve. Makes 2.
