Ingredients Convert Measures
- 2 Tbsp. BUTTER
- 1/2 c. Minced ONION
- 1/2 c. Minced BELL PEPPER
- 1 lb HAMBURG
- 1 can 4 Ounce SIZE, TOMATO PASTE
- 1 Tbsp. KETCHUP
- 1/2 c. WATER
- SALT
- PEPPER
Directions
- USING MEDIUM HEAT, Heat BUTTER IN A SKILLET. Saute/fry ONION AND PEPPER Till LIMP, BUT NOT BROWN. Add in HAMBURG AND COOK Till BROWNED. Add in THE TOMATO PASTE AND THE KETCHUP. STIR Till ALL THE INGREDIENTS ARE INCORPORATED.
- SLOWLY Add in THE WATER WHILE CONSTANTLY STIRRING. COOK OVER LOW HEAT FOR 15 Min. IT WILL THICKEN. Add in SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. SERVE ON HAMBURG BUNS.
