Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.Add onion and stir fry until light brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and stir fry for a few minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients except okra.Keep stirring it.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Stir fry until oil separates.Add okra and cook on slow heat,stirring ocassionally until done.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies,if desired.
  7. Serve with chappati/paratha.
