Directions

  1. Peel onions and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices, separate into rings. Combine pancake mix and beer to make a smooth thick batter. Dip onion rings in batter and fry a few at a time in warm fat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper lined baking sheets. Keep fried onion rings warm in oven till all rings are fried.
