Chocolate Mint Truffle Cookies Recipe
by Kara Cook

I know I've mentioned it before, but chocolate and mint together is one of my very favorite flavors in the world! I took my chocolate truffle cookie recipe, added some mint kisses, and came up with Chocolate Mint Truffle Cookies. They are amazing! They look plain jane on the outside, but then you bite into one and get a mint truffle explosion. Awesome stuff!

The powdered sugar in these cookies gives them a very smooth fudge-like texture. And they kind of just melt in your mouth. They really are divine. One of my new favorite cookie recipes for sure!

Mint kisses are only available during the holiday season, so hurry and make these while you can! Or if you're crazy about chocolate mint like I am, you can freeze the kisses so you can enjoy them later on during the year.

Chocolate Mint Truffle Cookies

Cream butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa till creamy. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in flour. Take about a tablespoon of dough and wrap around a mint kiss. You should get about 36 cookies. Reserve the remaining kisses! Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for about 8-10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing to cooling racks. Cool completely. Melt remaining kisses and drizzle over the top of the cookies.
