Ingredients Convert Measures
- 3 ounce (85 g) dark baking chocolate
- 1/3 c. (85 g) butter
- 3/8 c. (85 g) superfine sugar
- 3 ounce (85 g) grnd hazelnuts
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 healthy pinch salt
- 4 tbsp Nutella (chocolate paste)
- 2 ounce (65 g) lowfat milk chocolate (decoration)
Directions
- Cut chocolate into pcs and heat in a pan with butter, making sure which the temperature remains low
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C)
- Separate egg whites from yolks
- In mixing bowl, whip yolks and sugar till mix turns pale
- Beat egg whites + healthy pinch of salt till very stiff
- In frying pan, toast grnd hazelnuts, then, once cooled, mix with melted chocolate, then add in yolk-sugar mix
- Add in stiffly beaten egg whites, taking care not to deflate them
- Fill molds and cook 15 minutes. Allow to cold before unmolding
- Spread with Nutella and join the two egg halves, and, if necessary, hold together with ribbons.
