Chocolate Cabernet Sauvignon Fondue

Very fun to entertain with, and delicious. You can dip pound cake cubes, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, etc..

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 8 ounces of small pieces of bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of cabernet sauvignon (optional)

Directions

  1. Put sugar, heavy cream, chocolate, and butter into a bowl and microwave for about two minutes.
  2. Remove the bowl from the microwave (careful if it is hot).
  3. Remove any lumps by stirring the mixture to make sure everything is fully incorporated.
  4. Add the cabernet sauvignon and stir.
  5. Place into a fondue pot or fountain.
