Directions

  1. Sprinkle chocolate wafer crumbs in bottom of a 7 inch springform pan. Set aside. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add in cream cheese and next 7 ingredients, processing till smooth. Add in egg and process just till blended. Mix in chocolate morsels.
  2. Slowly pour mix over crumbs in pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 65-70 min or possibly till cheesecake is set. Let cold in pan on wire rack. Cover and refrigerateat least 8 hrs. Remove sides of pan, and transfer cheesecake to a serving platter. Garnish with chocolate curls, if you like.
  3. Chocolate-Mint Cheesecake: Substitute 1/4 c. creme de menthe for amaretto.
