Directions

  1. Cut up chicken of chicken halves. Wash and drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste (salt optional). Place in shallow cooking dish with 2 slices of lemon. Put in oven at 400 degrees for about 10 min.
  3. Make butter baste to pour on chicken. Saute/fry scallions and peppers in a saucepan. Add in the stick of butter, rosemary and poultry seasoning. Pour over chicken in oven. Bake till done at 325-350 degrees. Rosemary is a traditional Jewish seasoning.
