Ingredients Convert Measures
- 1 c. chicken
- 2 slices lemon
- 1/2 c. minced scallions green onions
- 1/2 c. red or possibly green bell pepper
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon salt & pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon season salt & poultry seasoning
Directions
- Cut up chicken of chicken halves. Wash and drain.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste (salt optional). Place in shallow cooking dish with 2 slices of lemon. Put in oven at 400 degrees for about 10 min.
- Make butter baste to pour on chicken. Saute/fry scallions and peppers in a saucepan. Add in the stick of butter, rosemary and poultry seasoning. Pour over chicken in oven. Bake till done at 325-350 degrees. Rosemary is a traditional Jewish seasoning.
