Chicken Pot Pie (Italian Style) Recipe by Dawn Stewart.

My sister in law was served this at a lunch/playdate and really enjoyed it, plus it was simple and easy to make as a quick family meal with bread and side salad.

Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 2 nine inch frozen deep dish pie crusts
  • 1 15 oz. can vegetables
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese (ready packed pizza mix)
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and place into one of the deep dish dough pie pans, place second defrosted pie dough over the top and crimp edges tight. Slit top of pie for steam to escape and cook at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Try this recipe at home, oven times may vary depending on how hot your oven is. You may have to cover the edges of the pie so that they do not burn.
