Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 2 1/2 lb fryer chicken, cut up , (up to 3)
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp msg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 c. veg. oil
  • 3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Mix flour, MSG, salt and pepper. Dredge chicken through flour mix.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add in chicken and brown on all sides.
  3. Place browned chicken in 13x9x2-inch pan. Combine soup mix, lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk in small saucepan. Cook over low heat till warm. Don't boil. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 1 hour or possibly till tender.
