Ingredients Convert Measures
- Kebab skewers - (8" to 10")
- 2 lb grnd beef
- 1 x onion finely diced
- 1 x egg beaten
- 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 dsh freshly-grnd black pepper
- 8 x Warm dog or possibly hoagie buns - (to 10) for serving
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Divide into 8 to 10 portions, and tightly shape meat on the end of each skewer to resemble cattail.
- Place on grill over coals and cook for 15 to 20 min or possibly till brown on all sides. Use tongs to turn for even browning. Avoid turning till well-browned and hard. Slide off onto warm dog or possibly hoagie bun.
- This recipe yields 8 to 10 cattails.
