Ingredients

  • 1 sm Head of red cabbage
  • 1 med Apple
  • 1 sm Onion
  • 3 slc Bacon
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Directions

  1. "Shred cabbage finely. Fry bacon till crisp, saute/fry the minced onion in the bacon grease. Add in cabbage and peeled, cubed apple and crumbled bacon.
  2. Fill up with water till the cabbage is well covered. Cook till soft and then season with vinegar and sugar to taste. Add in salt to taste. This can be warmed up again and again, and it gets better the more it is warmed up."
