Ingredients Convert Measures
- 4 x Large eggs
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla sugar
- 1 c. Orange juice
- 1 c. Oil
- 3 c. Flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
Directions
- Beat Large eggs with sugar and vanilla till light and lemon colored. Add in juice, and oil, and then the dry ingredients one Tbsp. at a time. Beat well.
- Variations:NUT CAKE: add in wine instead of the juice, add in one half c. minced nuts and 100 grams of grated bittersweet chocolate
- MARBLE CAKE: Add in 2 Tbspn cocoa to 1/3 of the batter
- SPICE CAKE: add in 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp, ginger and 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- CHOCOLATE CAKE: add in 1/2 c. cocoa and you can switch thejuice with lowfat milk.
- ORANGE CAKE: add in the grated peel of one orange. Optionally, add in raisins.
- Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
