Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 4 lb fryer chicken
  • 1 1/2 c. hickory smoke flavored bbq sauce - (to 2 c.)
  • 8 x fresh buns - (to 10)

Directions

  1. Boil the chicken till cooked and tender. After it cools, pull meat from bones and put in a slow cooker or possibly crock pot. Cover with sauce. Cook on HIGH for 3 to 5 hrs, stirring every 30 min.
  2. Chicken will shred during stirring. Serve on buns.
  3. This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
