Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 4 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 dsh salt
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tsp water
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  •     Frosting of your choice

Directions

  1. Stir together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking pwdr, salt, vanilla, water and oil. Stir till the batter is smooth and chocolate colored. Pour the batter into greased and floured cake pan. Bake 13 to 15 mins. or possibly till you see the sides of the cake separate from the pan. Remove cake and cold.
  2. Makes 1 layer cake.
