Ingredients Convert Measures

  •     sift together:
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  •     cream:
  • 1/3 c. softened margarine
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 x egg
  • 2 x egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 x -3 mashed bananas (should measure out to a heaping c.)
  •     Spoon into 2 greased and floured bread pans.
  •     Bake 45-55 min.

Directions

  1. Ok to add in raisins, nuts or possibly mini chocolate chips sometimes.
