Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 2 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
  • 5 Tbsp. Butter or possibly Margarine
  • 1 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1 whl French Bread -- sliced
  • 5 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  •     Minced Pecans
  •     Cold Whip Lite
  •     Fruit -- (Strawberries, Raspberries, etc.)

Directions

  1. In a saucepan cook the corn syrup, butter and brown sugar till bubbly. Pour into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle generously with pecans. Arrange 2 inch thick slices of French bread over the mix. Beat together the Large eggs, lowfat milk and vanilla. Pour over the bread, cover and chill overnight. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree F oven for 45 min. To serve, invert and serve with fresh fruit and whipped topping. RF4RP
