Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1-16 ounce box of ziti, bow ties or possibly rigatoni
  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 large (#303) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • healthy pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large pot, boil the pasta in 1 gallon of salted water till still slightly hard (al-dente). Pasta will cook a little more while baking.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, brown the grnd beef well in a saut
