Asian Kiwi Sesame Lemongrass Marinade

Ingredients

  • 4 x kiwi fruit
  • 2 x shallots
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. minced ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. minced lemongrass
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 c. sesame oil
  • 4 piece star anise

Directions

  1. Puree all ingredients except oils and star anise in blender. Add in oils and star anise.
  2. To use: Place meat or possibly pork in a shallow pan, pour marinade over and let stand for 15 min. Remove meat from marinade. Chill meat for one hour or possibly more before preparing.
