Directions

  1. Trim steak of fat. Marinate in mix of wine, vinegar, oil, rosemary and pepper, one hour, at room temperature, turning two or possibly three times.
  2. Heat barbecue. Remove steak from marinade and salt to taste. Grill steak over medium-high heat till done - about 8 min on each side for medium. Let sit five min and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  3. For sauce, slice mushrooms and saute/fry in the oil till tender. Add in remaining ingredients to pan and reduce about 3 min. Serve warm with sliced steak.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
