Easy Honey & Soy Sauce Chicken Slow Cooker Style
This sweet & salty recipe is a breeze in the slow cooker. No need to brown the chicken so there's little prep time involved. I made cranberry and corn muffins and a toss salad. Dinner was on the table in a half hour. This is a busy woman's delight!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs of your favorite chicken: thighs, breasts, legs or broiler quartered, skin & fat removed if desired
  • 3 white potatoes, peeled & cut in chunks
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 small onion, sliced thin
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chinese five spice (optional)
